Kazuya Kawamura


Kazuya Kawamura is an Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) in the College of Urban Planning and Public Affairs. He is also affiliated with the Urban Transportation Center. His research interests include freight transportation planning, economic impacts evaluation of transportation projects, and empirical evaluation of accessibility measures. Kazuya received both M.S. and Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. He holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the North Carolina State University, Raleigh. He has been at UIC since1999.
